David was born and raised in Mindanao in the southern Philippines, where he grew up in a Christian family. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering and works as a project planner on major rail infrastructure projects in Melbourne. Though raised in the faith, David considers his 2013 baptism in Hong Kong as the moment he personally came to saving faith. After moving from Sydney to Melbourne in 2019, he and his family began attending GraceWest in early 2020.

David now serves faithfully as both a Deacon and the church’s Bookkeeper, and he also oversees the church rostering. He and his wife, Hannah, are blessed with two children, Ziggy and Izzy. Together, they enjoy boating, camping, and fishing as a family. David’s heart is for the church to remain steadfast in God’s Word, equipping believers to stand firm in Christ and to share the gospel with others.
