Martin grew up in Melbourne, Australia, in a Christian home that shaped his early understanding of faith. As a teenager he committed his life to Christ, and in his early twenties he was intentionally discipled and mentored in how to live out that commitment. Originally trained as a Fitter and Machinist, he later moved into education, teaching Technology in secondary schools.

In 2010, while serving as an acting elder in Melbourne’s east, Martin sensed a call to join a new church plant in the west. He has served there ever since as Senior Teaching Pastor and Elder at GraceWest. Martin and his wife, Rosemary, are blessed with three children and a daughter‑in‑law. His deepest desire is to see people come to salvation, grow into spiritual maturity, and joyfully serve God’s kingdom both locally and beyond.
